Prof. Jauch-Chara pursued research and clinical education in parallel. She started both at the Department of Internal Medicine I in Luebeck. After two years she decided to focused on psychiatry and psychotherapy. She acquired extensive experience in clinical psychiatry and psychotherapy, as well as in applying modern therapeutic methods in psychotherapeutic, pharmacological and biological fields. In the last two years she expanded her research interests to the epigenetic and genetic issues in neuropsychiatry and to the field of collecting the activity patterns of neuropsychiatric patients by means of digital, wearable technologies.
