After medical school Alexander Katalinic continued his education in the field of medical biometrics (certificate in biometry, GDMS, 1999). In 2004 he received his postdoctoral lecture qualification and the vena legend in social medicine, epidemiology and health service research. Since 2011 he is a full professor at the University Lübeck.
